Was looking for a topic to write on and decided to do it on a word which first came to my mind . Nobody in the world has ever spared others from Gyan they have on this topic . So here goes my two cents although I may not be the Pro here :-
Well more than what Love is , we need to know what it does not encompasses –
Possessiveness , Expectations , Jealousy , Lust , Fear , Restraint . All of them singularly or otherwise are bane to idea of Love .
Love is Eternal . Love means that the person can just live their life exactly as they choose and you will always be there for them no matter what . Its perfectly fine if you feel proud to be with someone but circumstance change , people change and life changes .But love is not affected by any of that .
Love is Unconditional . Few attributes like Looks , money , status , intellect cannot sustain relationship for long . An unconditional love as they say is that spiritual bond which is complete in itself and does not needs any other attribute to survive .
Love is Noble . It changes you for good . Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion, the romance- and you find out you still care for that person.
Love is Sacrifice . Love brings greatest sorrows . But it is worth the pain . Those moments are perfect, they are right. Those moments make all the suffering worth while. It’s those moments we should live for.
To sum up , love is mother of all virtues .
“And think not you can guide the course of love. For love, if it finds you worthy, shall guide your course.”

Today I saw “BARFI”..and read your blog…although both of them are analogous..but still I am bit skeptical about the feasibility ….how can you spend 50 yrs with a person who will never listen you and will never speak with you…is it possible in this world..what Shruti did, is it right??? or it was a movie that’s why..everything is fair..

Thanks a lot for going through the post . I am not sure about others , but I believe that things like feasibility/practicality/realism not only demeans but negates the very idea of love . Also , it is all about expressing for which talking/listening are not really necessary. The way Burfi and Jhilmil expressed their love was so pure , unadulterated and far different from the games/moves which so called ‘able’ and intelligent adults indulge in .Spending 50 years with a person (while talking and listening) who is otherwise unable to appreciate your inner feelings , quirks and dreams would be a huge farce . That is precisely the reason movie like ‘Burfi’ appealed to me and made sense to me .

Love was truly pure & unadulterated between Jhilmil & Burfi. One cannot feel the love and affection of someone who loves him unless he himself is put to the test. When you get something easily you become careless about that and hold it loose not with care(because love is just like a bird if you hold it tight it will die, if you hold it lose it will fly away but if you hold it with care it will stay with you for ever). Some times you have to let your love to fly away. If it comes back flying then it was yours, it is yours and it will remain yours. Barfi did the same thing. He let Shruti go, didnt stop her but his love was so pure that She has to come back…
Nice post…!!!
